Youth Athlete Strength and Conditioning Summer Program

East Side Athletic Club offers a summer program for athletes looking to improve their level of play and help accomplish their fitness goals. Here's what you can expect from our Strength and Conditioning Summer Program:

  • Ages 12- 18
  • Athletic Development for Strength, Power, Speed, Agility
  • Trained in team setting, 10 Athletes per class (0nly 20 total open spots)
  • June 6 through August 19th
  • Classes Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30am until 10:00am & 5:30pm until 7:00pm
  • $150 per month
  • $425 paid in full

    East Side Athletic Club will get you into better shape while building a strength building plan to suit you that pushes you to ensure you are getting the most out of your training!

    In our Sports Performance Training, we push you to accomplish greatness in each session. Whether you are planning on running a marathon or you want to reach the next level of success in your athletic ventures, we will help you achieve your goals!


    Ages 12-18: East Side Athletic Club Youth Training is designed to coach athletes in the fundamental development of Strength and Power in a sport and activity specific manner. Each athlete will undergo training with proper technique in the five base Olympic lifts for athlete development: Back Squat, Dead Lift, Power Clean, Flat Press, and Overhead Press.

    These five lifts will be utilized in a linear progression model, a programming technique that ensures maximum muscular strength and power development. Athletes will then progress into programming that expounds strength and power to individual sport needs, developing strength endurance, speed, and agility. Individuals will be assessed monthly to ensure programming is kept specific and goal oriented.

    Short Term Training Programs

    Training programs will be designed in a 3 block micro cycle periodization

    • Block 1: Linear progression model technique development
      Athletes will meet with Coach 3 times per week. This enables proper recovery times between development days to take place.
    • Block 2: Strength and Power Efficiency
      Individual goal setting for sport will be assessed and a personally tailored program will be designed to translate basic strength gains into an adapted sports program, making an athlete efficient at utilizing strength.
    • Block 3: Power and Speed Efficacy
      Proper technique and movement patterns in specific sport environment will be developed.

    Complete Athlete Development Programs

    • Athletes will be taken through training stages that simulate an entire sport cycle
    • Periodization programming ensures comprehensive development in all aspects of sport


    Our coaching staff at ESAC has extensive knowledge in collegiate and professional sport participation, from competition levels and coaching levels. Off season training in the collegiate and professional levels is necessary in order to maintain high levels of play and to prevent injury during season.

    Many players in this high level of competition are given predesigned “off season” training regimens provided to them by their respective coaching staff. The training goal of East Side Coaches is to utilize these programs in a manner that makes the athletes efficient in the lifting styles and models desired by respective coaches. Our staff will incorporate the given training protocols into an individualized training program to maximize sports performance.

    In the case that athletes do not have an “off season training program”, the East Side Coaches will design a sport specific regimen that emulates collegiate and professional programs. Programming will be athlete and sport specific, encompassing strength, power, speed, agility, flexibility, and conditioning development.
